I made it to The Room Where It Happens!

Take a moment to think back to January 2017. What were you up to? Me, I was in the middle of my exam period, but more importantly, I was planning how I was going to get tickets for Hamilton. They were being released half an hour after one of my exams finished, which meant I’d have to rush to the SU, set up my laptop, and get my friend on the phone pretty quickly. It was stressful, but I got four tickets for the 3rd of March 2018. I was ecstatic, but also, it was so far away!!

Fast forward to the end of February, 2018 – Hamilton was so, so close. I’d been waiting for so long, it almost felt like it was never going to happen. And then, the most ridiculous thing happened.

It snowed.

Hamilton Book Tag

I originally came across this tag at The Lovely Pages Reviews, and then I got tagged by Victoria at Carton-Manette-Darnay a couple of days later, so I couldn’t resist doing taking part (because I am way too obsessed with Hamilton).

However, I got sidetracked and delayed writing this post for a few months… But we’re not going to talk about that! Instead, let’s talk about Hamilton. If you have yet to hear about this wonderful musical, all you need to know is that it tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, it’s hip-hop, and it’s written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, an absolute genius. Seriously, just go and listen to the soundtrack right now.
