Cover Love: Angelfall

Cover Love

This week’s cover love is going to focus on Angelfall by Susan Ee. It’s the first book in the Penryn and the End of Days series, and definitely worth the read if you haven’t already read it.

Angelfall

This cover is so, so perfect. It’s so simple and elegant and pretty. I love the dark background which makes the wings really stand out, and I like the fact that the wings have so much detail. They really shine in this cover and it looks so pretty. I am also a fan of the rain effect in the background because that also looks really good. I just really love this cover.

Have you read Angelfall? Are you a fan of the cover?

Review: Angelfall (Penryn and the End of Days #1)

Angelfall by Susan Ee

Angelfall

It’s been six weeks since angels of the apocalypse descended to demolish the modern world. Street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When warrior angels fly away with a helpless little girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back.

Raffe is a warrior who lies broken and wingless on the street. After eons of fighting his own battles, he finds himself being rescued from a desperate situation by a half-starved teenage girl.

Traveling through a dark and twisted Northern California, they have only each other to rely on for survival. Together, they journey toward the angels’ stronghold in San Francisco where she’ll risk everything to rescue her sister and he’ll put himself at the mercy of his greatest enemies for the chance to be made whole again.
