Winter Warmers

Β All of a sudden, winter has appeared.

It’s that time of year when the jumpers, scarves, hats and gloves appear and people up north are talking about snow.

It’s that time where every single shop you pass insists that it’s already Christmas.

It’s that time where you finally get to pretend you’re a dragon as you watch your breath appear before your eyes.

Also, it’s cold, which means one thing, and one thing only.

Drinking as many hot drinks as possible!

My personal favourite, especially when I’m reading a good book, is a hot chocolate. You just can’t beat it on a cold winter’s day. And luckily for me, there are so many different flavours out there now. Stocked up already, I’ve got my classic Cadbury’s along with salted caramel, tiramisu, a couple of different orange flavours, and chai chocolate.

What more could you want?

Well, I guess you could be a tea lover.

(As a British person, I feel like I should try more tea. Does the obsession grow with age? Because I really don’t understand the constant tea drinking.)

Anyway, if you are a tea lover, can I just encourage you to head down to Bath right now? Because it has two absolutely wonderful tea shops which are just incredible (and one of them sells hot chocolate and coffee too = extra brownie points!)

First up,Β T2. It’s actually an Australian tea company who have shops in the UK. It’s such a nice shop, and has quite a modern feel to it. There are so many different types of tea! (I feel the picture is enough proof). Also, it smells great.

This place could actually turn me into a tea lover

Secondly, and just across the road, is the Teahouse Emporium. Style-wise, it’s the total opposite to T2, but that is not a bad thing. It is totally adorable and sells the cutest teapots and mugs etc. It also has a great range of tea, plus flavoured coffee and hot chocolate.

Paradise, perhaps?

Literally the cutest place ever

So, whether you’re a tea or hot chocolate lover, winter is the definitely the best time to make the most of such drinks.

And if you’re more into coffee? Well, I guess you could drink that. Each to their own right?

Are you stocking up on the hot drinks this winter? If you had to choose, would you go hot chocolate, tea or coffee? And aren’t tea shops the cutest places on the planet?

  1. Awesome stuff here! I say from personal experience that T2 is wonderful with many different types of Tea to test in the store. It’s starting to get hot here in Australia but I am still consuming copious amounts of Tea !

    1. The tea there looks incredible – I’m definitely going to have to go back and try some. And tea is definitely suitable for all weather. πŸ™‚
